untitled apocalyptic auUNFINISHED/DROPPED
SHINee onew/jonghyun/taemin // pg-13 // #### wds.
a/n: so this fic was my nanowrimo project from 2010 (yeah, it’s that old) and i had all these big epic plans for it, but i kind of burnt out somewhere around 20,000 words and couldn’t get myself back into it. anyway, the general plot is that taemin is an angel, jonghyun is a demon, and both of them are after onew’s human soul. except it turns out everyone in the kingdoms of heaven and hell want them same thing and so taemin and jonghyun have to set aside their rivalry to protect onew and keep him from getting ripped into a thousand onewy pieces. or something like that.
( It is somewhere around the third or fourth time that Taemin watches a toddler hit Lee Jinki in the knees with a nerf bat that Taemin begins to doubt whether this human’s soul is truly of divine importance. )

Hey everybody, wow, long time no see, right? Yeah, I'm really sorry about that. Well, I could write an entire gigantic essay about the changes and upheaval my life has gone through over the past few months—but I won't, I'll just summarize it like this: the changes are spectacular, i got a new job, i moved, things are going great for me right now and i'm really, really happy.
but, the one sad part about all this change is that after being away for so long, i've fallen completely out of fandom in the interim and i don't see myself coming back any time soon. so i won't be posting any more updates to this journal or my personal one, either. thank you so much for following and reading my random rambles and stories, it was truly so much fun while it lasted, and i met some amazingly hilarious and awesome people during my run here on eljay and in this fandom. i'm honestly grateful to all of you who were part of this experience with me, it got me through a really rough patch in my life and now that i'm on the brink of this new chapter of my life, i can't move on without saying goodbye to all of you, and saying, one more time: thank you so, so much.
the posts that will follow this one will be me dumping a couple old WIP's that have been sitting on my harddrive for ages and ages. they're totally raw, unedited, and unfinished, but after putting in as much time to those stories as i have, i kind of want to just set them free into the ether and say goodbye to them, too. you're welcome to read or not read, but i'll be disabling the comments on them just because i want them to be available and to, like, exist? but i don't want any feedback or anything. everything else that's already here i plan to leave up indefinitely, so don't worry about that.

I've taken down my fic Hallelujah part 1. When I eventually (think nebulous future here you guys) complete the story in its entirety I'll post it back up again. I originally only posted the first half as an experimental incentive to myself to get the last part of it written; it's over a year later, I think the experiment failed. :( I'm very sorry for the trouble and confusion about it.
